Hundreds of nationalists gathered in the centre of Kharkov, Friday to march in honour of the 98th anniversary of the Battle of Kruty.
The torch-lit procession of more than 200 people marched through the city centre singing the national anthem and chanting "glory to Ukraine – glory to heroes! Heroes do not die, enemies die."
The Battle of Kruty took place during the Civil War in Russia in 1918 when 'Free Cossacks of the Ukrainian People's Republic' and Ukrainian cadets fought for independence against numerically superior Bolshevik forces, who overwhelmed them.
