A march was staged commemorating the 98th anniversary of the Battle of Kruty in Kiev on Friday. The event was initiated by the All-Ukrainian Union 'Svoboda' and saw supporters light torches and walk through the city, in remembrance of those killed fighting the Bolsheviks on January 29, 1918.
Andrei Illenko, a member of the Svoboda party, used the ceremony as an opportunity to condemn the current government of Ukraine, by claiming it’s “living with illusions of the Minsk" peace agreements concerning the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
