The OSCE’s Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine visited the village of Naberezhnoe, Friday, after reports of shelling emerged on Thursday.
The group checked the situation in the village and interviewed locals about what they had seen or heard.
SOT, Marina, local resident (Russian): "They [the children] ran into the house, they said that the shells flew over the house. Somewhere in that direction [shows] and where the shells fell the kids did not hear. We were frightened, we got dressed and immediately ran to the basement. We did not remain on the street. I have small children. The youngest is eighteen months old. Children cannot go for a walk. It really scared me. Moreover, we lost our father."
